Teazel Textiles

My woven textiles are produced individually or in batches of two or three on traditional table and floor looms. The weaving process is slow, intentional, meditative and completely absorbing. Many of my textiles are one-of-a-kind, and even where a design is repeated, the natural variations of the handweaving process mean each has its own unique character. I love using high-quality natural yarns, locally sourced wherever possible, and seeking out vintage fabrics and threads to repurpose in my stitched and felted work.
